The MARS Aerator is a unique, professionally engineered aeration system. As a result, it has a number of features that many other pond bubblers do not have. Both components work in tandem to create an upward movement of water that pulls oxygen-deprived water from the lowest part of the pond and propels it towards the surface. As a result, it is exposed to the fine bubbles. This efficiently raises the dissolved oxygen level of the pond, while also effectively circulating and de-stratifying the water column. 3. 2)   High Efficiency, Self-Cleaning Membranes - The fine bubble diffusers circling the MARS' static tube are equipped with EPDM membranes that are independently proven to have among the highest of Oxygen Transfer Efficiencies (OTE) in laboratory tests. The membranes are also designed to be self cleaning, therefore lowering the risk of fouling that can lead to diminished oxygen transfer and increased power costs over time.
    
4. 3)   Minimal Maintenance Design - The unique design of the MARS positions the fine bubble diffusers a minimum of twelve inches above the bottom sediments in order to avoid the clogging and fouling that has plagued conventional fine bubble aerators. This contributes to the MARS' consistency and reliability.
    
5. 4)   Self-Checked Coarse Bubble Diffusers - The coarse bubble diffuser utilized by the MARS Aerator is specially designed with anti-clogging technology that has positive backflow sealing. This prevents backflow of water and debris into the unit and again prevents maintenance.
    
6. 5)   Air Regulation System - Both aeration components (fine and coarse bubble) are supplied air via a proprietary air regulation system that manages and distributes the air between the fine and coarse bubble components at a specified rate so as to optimize the performance of the MARS. This assures that your pond receives the proper ratio of mixing and oxygenation.
